Mother Church also gives us this wonderful upcoming season of Lent to help us refocus on our Lord; to refocus our efforts to draw closer to Him and to discover new ways or rediscover old ways we can be of service to one another and our community. Through our days of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, we learn discipline, but we also come to know God’s love and mercy and how to bring that love and mercy into the world around us through “crossing over” to engage one another in love.
Peace and blessings,

Catholic Daughters of the Americas strives to embrace the principle of faith working through love in the promotion of justice, equality, and the advancement of human rights and human dignity for all.
The integration of spirituality and service is the foundation of the Catholic Daughters. CDA helps women develop their spirituality and provides avenues of service to live out that spirituality. The CDA gives members a unique opportunity to share their faith with other Catholic women. Helping others through charitable acts in the spirit of Jesus Christ is the heart of our organization.
